Logging a BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu Combined Pen in Lab Inventory

GLOW is one pen with three peptides in it, not three items. How to enter it in a lab inventory so stock counts, labels and reports stay in step.

GLOW Blend illustration for the CLOVA guide: Logging a BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu Combined Pen in Lab Inventory

Most lab inventory systems assume one item equals one substance. A BPC-157 TB-500 GHK-Cu combined pen breaks that assumption. CLOVA's GLOW blend is a single 3ml pen with three peptides inside it, not a bundle of three separate products, and logging it as anything else creates phantom stock and confusing reorders.

This guide covers how to enter GLOW correctly, the mistakes that tend to creep in, and the storage notes that belong on the record.

One pen, three components, one record

The GLOW blend contains BPC-157 10mg, TB-500 10mg and GHK-Cu 50mg, 70mg in total, in one 3ml pen labelled KLIKGLOW. Commercially and physically, it is one item.

That means one stock line per pen type, with the three components listed as attributes of that line rather than as items in their own right. When you count stock, you count pens. When someone searches the system for GHK-Cu, the record should still surface, because the component field names it.

Common logging mistakes

A few errors come up again and again with combined products.

Three entries for one pen. Logging BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu as separate stock items makes it look as though three things are on the shelf. Use one of them and the other two appear to remain.

One peptide name for the whole pen. Entering the pen as "GHK-Cu 70mg" because GHK-Cu is the largest component misstates both the content and the identity of the item.

Nicknames instead of label names. If the inventory says "glow pen" but the label says KLIKGLOW, a new team member may not connect the two. Record both.

Treating it as a bundle. A bundle, such as CLOVA's STRENGTH set, arrives as separate pens with separate labels. GLOW does not, and the record should not imply that it will.

Building the inventory entry

A complete GLOW entry needs only a handful of fields. Check that yours includes:

  • Item name: GLOW, with label name KLIKGLOW
  • Format: one 3ml pen per unit
  • Components: BPC-157 10mg, TB-500 10mg, GHK-Cu 50mg
  • Batch number, copied from the label on arrival
  • Date received and the order it came from
  • Storage location, at 2–8°C
  • Link or reference to the matching report, where one is available
  • Owner, or the researcher responsible for the material

If your system cannot hold components as attributes, a notes field will do. What matters is that the stock count stays at the pen level.

Storage location and goods-in notes

CLOVA ships cold, by tracked delivery, in discreet unbranded outer packaging. Goods-in staff should know that the parcel will not carry product branding on the outside, or it may sit unopened in a post room. A note on the expected delivery helps.

Once unpacked, the pen goes into storage at 2–8°C. It should not be frozen and should be kept away from light, so a closed box on a fridge shelf is better than a door rack. The storage guide covers this in more detail, and the storage field in your inventory should match it.

Before the pen is shelved, record the batch number from the label and check it against the Certificates of Analysis page or the product page, where a report is available. GLOW is supplied for research use only, so the inventory entry should describe it as a laboratory material, with no other purpose recorded.

When the study needs separate materials

Sometimes the inventory question reveals a planning question. If a researcher needs to track or handle the three peptides independently, a combined pen is the wrong item, and no amount of careful logging changes that. CLOVA lists the components as single products as well, and those should be ordered and logged as separate stock lines from the start.

Frequently asked questions

Should GLOW be entered as three stock items?

No. It is one pen containing three peptides, so it should be one stock line with the components listed as attributes. Counting it as three items will make your stock levels wrong.

Where does the batch number go?

Copy it from the KLIKGLOW label into the stock record when the pen arrives. That number is what you match against a published report, where one is available.

Can a GLOW pen be logged as separate components later?

It should not be, because it is supplied as a combined pen. If the work needs the peptides as separate materials, order the single-peptide listings and log each one in its own right.
