GLOW Listing Changed Since You Shortlisted It? What to Re-check

If a GLOW listing or quote no longer matches your notes, you do not need to restart. Re-check five things, keep what still holds and record the rest.

Buying Guides illustration for the CLOVA guide: GLOW Listing Changed Since You Shortlisted It? What to Re-check

You shortlisted a GLOW peptide listing a few weeks ago, and now the page, the quote or the confirmation in front of you does not quite match your notes. Before anyone panics or presses ahead, work out what has changed. A changed GLOW peptide listing does not invalidate everything you have done, but an unchanged product name should not be allowed to carry every earlier conclusion either.

This is a review routine, not a report of any actual change. It is for the moment when something looks different and your team has to decide how much of the earlier work still stands.

Pin down what you originally saw

Your first problem is usually memory. If you kept no dated record of the listing, a colleague cannot tell whether the difference lies in the product, the terms or simply the way the page is laid out.

From now on, save the page as you review it, with the date, and note anything you were told by email. Separate what you observed earlier from what you have confirmed today. A summary written from memory is a poor basis for deciding that nothing important has moved.

Five things worth re-checking

Compare your notes against the current GLOW listing and any fresh quote, one item at a time:

  1. Name and label name. Does it still read GLOW, with the label name KLIKGLOW?
  2. Contents. Is it still a 3ml pen with BPC-157 10mg, TB-500 10mg and GHK-Cu 50mg, 70mg in total?
  3. Paperwork. Which Certificate of Analysis applies to the batch now offered, if one is shown? Reports are on the CoA page and on product pages where available, and the batch number on the label should match the report.
  4. Price and terms. Has the figure, the quantity or the basis of the quote changed from what you recorded?
  5. Delivery. Does the delivery information still fit your receiving arrangements, including cold storage on arrival?

Mark each item "same", "different" or "cannot tell". The third category is useful; it tells you what to ask.

Clarification or substitution?

Two quite different things can look alike from the outside. A clearer explanation of the same pen is a clarification. A different pen offered in its place is a substitution.

Clarifications can usually be absorbed into the existing file. A substitution needs to be judged against the original brief as a fresh candidate, not accepted automatically under the earlier request. If you cannot tell which has happened, ask, and quote the exact line you are unsure about.

What earlier work still stands

Do not throw out valid background. An earlier report can remain useful for the batch it described while no longer answering the question about the batch now offered. Say so in the file: "valid for the earlier batch, not yet matched to the current offer."

The same applies to your own requirement. If your team changed its brief, record that your preference moved. Do not blame a supplier change you have not established. A clerical update should never turn into an invented commercial event in the paper trail.

Does it need approval again?

An approval given for one proposal does not automatically stretch to cover a different commitment. If the contents, quantity or total have moved, check your organisation's procedure for whether the earlier sign-off still applies, and ask for a fresh one where it does not.

Items are supplied for laboratory research use only, so the researcher remains the person who decides whether a changed offer still fits the work. Purchasing can gather the clarification. It should not invent acceptance criteria on the researcher's behalf.

Leave a clear note for the next colleague

Finish with three lines: what changed, what still holds, and what is needed now. Anyone picking up the file should be able to continue without reconstructing the story from a long email thread.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to restart the whole assessment?

Rarely. Keep the work that is unaffected and redo only what depended on the item that changed. Starting again from scratch wastes the checks that remain valid.

What if the batch number on the pen differs from the report I reviewed?

Do not file the documents as matched. Record the difference and contact CLOVA with both batch numbers. The returns and refunds page sets out CLOVA's policy for problems with an order.

How should I record the check?

Keep a dated copy of what you saw, a short list of what you compared and the outcome for each item. Names and dates matter more than polished wording.
